The 15,000-square foot interpretive center features permanent and traveling western cultural exhibits, a Hall of Honorees, theater, gift shop, archives, 1,400 square feet of multi-purpose meeting space and a 5,000 square foot open-air patio.

The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame strives to preserve the history and promote the culture of North Dakota’s Native American, Ranching, & Rodeo communities by informing and educating people of all nations and cultures about the state’s rich and colorful western heritage.

The Center of Western Heritage & Cultures is open from mid-May through mid-September and by reservation during the off-season. It is located in downtown Medora at 250 Main Street: one block north of Pacific Avenue or one block east of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park entrance.
